In 2 Thessalonians 2:13–3:18, the Apostle Paul provides a strong exhortation to the believers to live faithfully and responsibly as they wait for the Lord’s return. Paul praises the Thessalonians for their growing faith and steadfastness, but he also addresses a pressing issue of idleness among some members of the church. Paul does not mince words, declaring that those unwilling to work should not eat. He emphasizes the importance of a strong work ethic and encourages believers to be hardworking, dependable, and humble in their service to God and others.
