Fade, fade, each earthly pull—Jesus is mine!
Tear down that golden bull—Jesus is mine!
To rise from this wilderness,
And taste Heaven’s blessedness,
And enter that Sabbath rest;
Jesus is mine!
Tempt not my soul away—Jesus is mine!
Here may I ever stay—Jesus is mine!
Perishing earth of clay,
Born but for one brief day,
Pass from my heart away;
Jesus is mine!
Farewell, you lusts of night—Jesus is mine!
Darkness eclipsed by the Light—Jesus is mine!
All that my soul had tried,
Widened the chasm inside,
Only His love satisfied;
Jesus is mine!
